I’m James Thurman III, owner of JT3 Excavation, a locally owned excavation company proudly serving Spring City, Bledsoe County, and communities throughout Southeast Tennessee.

With deep roots in the local community, my experience in the excavation and construction industry began long before JT3 Excavation was established. I grew up working alongside close family members in logging and dirt work, gaining hands-on knowledge and skills that have been passed down through generations of my family.

In 2021, I turned that experience and passion into JT3 Excavation with a simple goal: to provide dependable, quality excavation services to the people and communities we call home.

Today, we’re committed to building on that foundation by delivering honest work, dependable service, and quality results on every project. Our goal is to become a trusted, premier excavation company throughout Southeast Tennessee while continuing to serve our customers with the same values that started it all—hard work, family, and pride in our community.
